Send a message to the legislature that you want a fair and moral state budget. Roll back the tax cuts, make sure the wealthy pay their fair share and refuse Governor LePage's proposal to place the burden on those who can least afford it.
Maine Has a Choice
To close the budget gap, we can either cancel the new tax cuts tilted towards corporations and the wealthy few, begin to bring the taxes of the top 1% back in line with the rest of us, and invest in preventative care and improvements that save lives and cost less in the long run, or we can make unprecedented new cuts to MaineCare, stripping health care from more than a hundred thousand Mainers and targeting the elderly, the poor, people with disabilities, and children all over our state.
